A club can compete in several leagues. First-team and youth-team placements are separate; a roster listing does not guarantee an appearance in a particular game.
Originally from Tartu, Jõesaar played at Sunrise Christian Academy in the United States before moving into college basketball with Ole Miss in 2013–14 and Texas–Pan American in 2014–15. In the latter season, he earned All-WAC Second Team and All-Newcomer Team honours.
His European club career includes Tartu Ülikool and Kalev/Cramo, Spanish clubs Tenerife and Manresa, and Germany’s Medi Bayreuth, where he played in 2021–22. He represented Anwil Włocławek in Poland in 2022–24 and Dziki Warszawa in 2024–25 before moving to KK Bosna.
Jõesaar signed a one-year contract with Start Lublin for 2026–27. The Estonia international has played at two EuroBasket final tournaments and joins national-team teammate Matthias Tass in Lublin.
In October 2026, Start Lublin announced that Jõesaar and Matthias Tass had been called up for Estonia’s next training camp ahead of November’s World Cup qualifiers.
