THE ATHLETE’S JOURNEY
Teams & competitions
A club can compete in several leagues. First-team and youth-team placements are separate; a roster listing does not guarantee an appearance in a particular game.
About the athlete
Metsa is on Culture City Weimar’s 2026–27 ProB roster. The club lists him at both guard positions, and he wears number 10.
His earlier development included Tartu Ülikool and Science City Jena: the German league’s career record lists Tartu from 2019 to 2023 and Jena in 2023–24. Weimar works with Science City Jena to develop young players.
On December 2, 2025, Thüringer Allgemeine reported that Metsa had injured his knee again after roughly a year out and was not expected to return to the squad during 2025–26. In a joint September 2026 announcement, Metsa and his agency described two preceding seasons affected by injuries and his preparations for the new season in Germany.
