A club can compete in several leagues. First-team and youth-team placements are separate; a roster listing does not guarantee an appearance in a particular game.
About the athlete
Kangur first played minibasket as a child in Varese before continuing his development in Estonia, where he made his adult second-tier debut at 14. His first official appearance for Varese U19 came against Cantù on 7 October 2024.
Kangur made his Basketball Champions League debut for Varese at Murcia in October 2026. Alongside the senior squad, his development has included Varese’s U19 team and adult basketball for Campus Varese in Serie B Interregionale.
In August 2026 he attended the NBA and FIBA Basketball Without Borders Next Up camp in Istanbul, held on August 26–29. The organizers listed him as an Estonian participant and published his results in the camp’s physical and athletic testing record.
For Estonia he averaged 14.1 points and 5.3 assists at the 2025 U16 European championship, then played seven games at the 2026 U18 tournament. He is the son of former Estonia international Kristjan Kangur.
